Code upgrades and errors

8 April 2016

We're in the process of upgrading our core PHP libraries to use "namespaces". This is a new way of partitioning classes and functions according to their source.

To cut a long story short, we'll be editing over ten thousand individual files to define a namespace and make other adjustments. Yes, really.

Because this can't be done automatically or simultaneously, as there are a number of exceptions, you may see transient errors with some pages not rendering completely.

You don't need to report these to us as they are automatically logged and will be dealt with as soon as possible.

We apologise in advance for any disruption this may cause.
