Recent upgrades you haven't noticed

Our elves have been busy in recent weeks and months upgrading some of our core libraries and rolling out new features.

The highlights include:

  • upgraded Lightbox with improved mobile layout and touch/swipe support;
  • super-small stand-alone social sharing buttons;
  • a fancy HTML5 image cropping tool;
  • new buttons for text formatting (removed ragged edges, insert blank lines, undo);
  • previews for file downloads using Google Docs or Microsoft Office Apps according to the file type;
  • more compliant delivery of file downloads with UTF-8 file names; and
  • RWD upgrades for a number of hosted websites.

Other less interesting changes include:

  • improved IPv6 support and security;
  • SpamAssassin spam filter training;
  • MailChimp API upgrades;
