Some websites on our new server were slow to load for some hours today due to a sharp increase in traffic which overloaded the built-in image optimisation and compression module. This may still be occurring intermittently for some requests, but generally the situation has improved.

We have made some configuration changes now which have improved the situation and will be making more changes in the next 24 hours to restore our normally fast connection speeds.
